Evaluation of ODA to the LAND sector

The report is the product of two reports already presented to the Minister in 2005 and 2006, as well as investigations done since those reports. It also incorporates the Panel’s response to the public and media comments on the interim report. It further incorporates elucidation of some aspects in response to the observations and directive of Cabinet following its initial consideration of the draft Report on 24 July 2007.

Sans titreThe Implementation Evaluation of the Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP) has been informed by a wide range of evidence obtained from various sources including: 18 CRDP site case studies (involving 110 community interviews and 52 focus group workshops involving over 500 CRDP participants and beneficiaries), interviews with government officials, a national CRDP participant institutional survey (responded to by 60 participants in CRDP institutions), a literature review of peer reviewed articles and CRDP programme documents, and international case study papers on other rural development programmes in middle income countries.
